TradeStamp

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 September 2026

This policy explains how the TradeStamp app and this website (“TradeStamp”, “we”, “us”) handle your information. TradeStamp is made by Hamza Tahir, 5 Rue Marx Dormoy, 75018 Paris, France, who is the data controller.

The short version: your photos, jobs and location stay on your phone. There is no account: we don’t collect your name or email. We don’t run ads, we don’t track you and we don’t sell data.

What Stays on Your Phone

Your Account (Optional)

The current version of TradeStamp has no accounts: you use it without signing in, and we don’t collect your email. This section only applies if a future version lets you create an account.

You can use TradeStamp without an account. If you choose to sign in, we keep:

We use this only to sign you in and to link your subscription to your account, so TradeStamp Pro works when you move to a new phone. Your account is stored by our authentication provider Supabase. The sign-in session on your phone is encrypted, with the key kept in the phone’s secure storage (Keychain / Keystore).

If you sign in with Google or Apple, that company confirms who you are under its own privacy policy. We don’t receive your password.

Delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. If you no longer have the app, email us from the address on your account and we’ll delete it within 30 days. This permanently deletes your account from our systems. It doesn’t delete photos on your phone, and it doesn’t cancel a subscription (do that in your App Store or Google Play settings).

Camera

TradeStamp uses your camera only to take the job photos you ask it to take.

Location

TradeStamp uses your location only while the app is open, to stamp the GPS coordinates and street address on your photos. Location is never sent to us and is never used in the background. To turn coordinates into a street address, your phone’s built-in address lookup is used (Apple on iPhone, Google on Android): that service receives the coordinates under its own privacy policy.

Photo Library

If you choose to, TradeStamp can pick a logo from your photos and save a copy of your stamped photos to your photo library. It doesn’t read any other photos.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, TradeStamp sets one reminder on your phone for the day before your free trial ends. It is created on your phone. We don’t use push notifications, and no notification data is sent to us or anyone else.

Subscriptions and Payments

Payments are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your card details. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives an app user ID (your account’s user ID if you’re signed in, otherwise a random ID), your purchase history for this app and basic device information (like app version and country). This is used to unlock TradeStamp Pro and give us sales totals, not for advertising or tracking.

This Website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking, so there is no cookie banner. Fonts and scripts are hosted on this site, so your browser doesn’t contact other companies when you visit. Our web host (Netlify) keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and time) for security, under its own policy.

Why We Use Your Data (Legal Basis)

How Long We Keep It

Account data is kept until you delete your account. Subscription records are kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Who Receives Data

Only the service providers named above (Supabase, RevenueCat, Apple, Google and our web host), and only to run TradeStamp. Some of them may process data outside your country (for example in the United States). Where that happens they use safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We don’t sell or rent your information to anyone.

What We Don’t Do

Children

TradeStamp is a work tool for businesses and is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU and UK).

Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, California or Canada), you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, or object to how we use it. You can delete your account yourself in the app. For anything else, email us and we’ll reply within one month. In the EU you can also complain to your data protection authority (in France: the CNIL, cnil.fr).

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
